It is Evleaks, a Twitter-based gizmo gossiper, has broken up the rumor. As it has proven its credibility in predictions, there is a god reason we trust in the new rumor. And, so the device would be named ‘EOS = Nokia Lumia 1020,’ making it yet another high-end addition to the Finnish firm’s latest series of Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8.
Earlier, analysts thought that Nokia would be working with yet another brand name for its Windows Phone 8 series. So it would have one more lineup of Windows Phone 8-based handsets with better cameras. But, the new report gives credence for the chance that the company has decided to continue with the same pattern of naming its devices. And, thus we will be getting the Nokia EOS with the official name of Lumia 1020.
Nokia has almost confirmed the upcoming handset, and it has declared a media event for it on July 11. Though the company hasn’t officially said what it would put on display at the event, its press invite has a clear hint on the gadget in its statement that there would be “41 reasons” to wait for the device, which is to be declared at the event.
What the tech world expects for the Nokia EOS is to highlight is a 41MP PureView rear camera, the same one you are familiar with 808 PureView, a Symbian-based Nokia flagship. So it may be an interesting read to relate the 41 reasons with the 41 megapixels, and thus the device for display at the media event would be Nokia Lumia 1020.
