iOS 7 on iPhone 5
As you might have heard, the iOS 7 beta is available now for you to download on your iPhone 5! This is great news and a way for you to test out the software before the actual version comes out on the estimated time frame of this fall, though no specific date is out just yet. Please keep in mind that in order to download the beta version of iOS7 you must have the Apple Developer Program which costs around $100 a year, have the current version of iTunes installed and have your devices registered on UDID in the developer center. Also, be aware that since this is the beta version; there could be some issues like crashing or even losing data. With this in mind, if you are truly ready and just cannot wait to test out the new beta iOS7, here are some easy-to-follow instructions to download.

Step by Step Guide for installation :

1)      Having your computer handy, connect your iPhone 5
2)      Launch iTunes and tap on the iPhone button
3)      Hold down the ‘option’ button while hitting the ‘restore iPhone’
4)      Choose the iOS7 file that was downloaded
5)      There will be onscreen instructions that all you have to do is simply follow.
Now, some of you may have the Verizon iPhone 5, in which case you should download the iOS7 beta for that particular phone. You will need to open the .dmg file and get the iOS7 beta which will have the extension of .ipsw. Your iPhone will then reboot and create a lot of weird looking screens but don’t worry, just keep your devices connected until the whole process is finished. Once it is, you can explore the new iOS7 and see how it may work for you. Once again, it is still beta and may be a little quirky here. However, the new applications and look will be well worth your time and it should only take around 10 minutes to set up and ready to use.
And with all new versions of software that are being installed, make sure that you back your important data up which can be done through either iTunes or iCloud. Your data should be able to be restored through either one of these processes. Apple also warns developers that all pre-released versions of the iOS are considered confidential and discourage any unauthorized use. Though the developers are optimistic, many people will be rubbing their hands for the new iOS7 to come out officially and making the new interface part of their lives and eager to see what it can do for them. Take your time with this new download and get to know it, it will most likely feel like forever until the official version comes out and you’ll have a long season of testing and trying out all the new features. It will be worth it though! Be like a kid in a candy store, see what it does and make sure you have fun!
